Whippletree are an established and popular Ceilidh band based in West Cornwall. They play a lively mix of upbeat, high-energy Celtic folk music with a range of instruments, including guitars, recorder, hurdy-gurdy, percussion, and vocals. Their tunes, songs, and dances are guaranteed to get your feet tapping, and you’ll be encouraged to get involved in the dances with their very own caller who’ll guide you through them. They have played at many festivals across Cornwall including Mazey Day at the Golowan Festival in Penzance, Newlyn Fish Festival, Lafrowda in St. Just, St Piran’s Day in Redruth, and have played the Royal Cornwall Show on three occasions.
